A well planned excercise and healthy diet can help in the prevention and removal of stretch marks. When choosing your diet, make sure they contain foods that can help keep your skin health, elastic, and moisturized. Good examples are foods rich in zinc such as seeds, nuts, green leafy vegetables, liver, and dairy products. Drinking plenty of fluids will help to keep your skin hydrated. Exercise is also very important as well. It prevents you from gaining weight thus reducing the chances that you will develop stretch marks.
I have heard of many people using home remedie methods for stretch mark removal, but I am not sure how well they work. Some of these remedies include, jojoba oil, avocado oil, aloe vera gel, lavender oil, chamomile oil, olive oil, and cocoa butter. There are also many more. Personally I have never tried any of these methods besides the cocoa butter, so I cannot say how well they work.
In the end, if you don’t want to spend the money on treatments of stretch mark removal, one of the best things you can do is to keep a good exercise plan. Eating healthy, keeping your body hydrated, and exercising can all help reduce stretch mark appearance as well as help prevent new ones.
